Some New Workshops, The Pacific Northwest Plein Air Show and Umpqua Plein Air Event

The “Exercise in Supersize” workshop is over.  The students did amazing work! I enjoyed teaching this enthusiastic group of artists. I will be teaching two more workshops this year, both are through Oregon Art Supply. For more information, go to http://www.oregonartsupply.com

Next, is the Pacific Northwest Plein Air event and show.  The Columbia Gorge area has spectacular painting opportunities and I’m looking forward to spending time with artists from the Pacific Northwest and around the country. For more information, go to http://www.maryhillmuseum.org

September also includes the UVAA (Umpqua Valley Arts Association) Plein Air paintout.  Another great experience to paint entirely different terrain and spend time with artists!  There is still time to sign up for this event is http://uvarts.com/plein-air-registration

  1. Hi Patty,

I would love information on your upcoming workshops. Particularly interested in City Scapes. I was so fascinated by your demonstration at Create Eugene last year and how you banged out an architectural 16×20 in an hour and a half. Please email info@AnnaLancasterFineArt.com. See you at PNWPA reception & Umpqua. Many Thanks, Anna Lancaster

    1. Hello There,
I just got settled in and read your email, Anna. So nice to see you at the reception, even if only for a minute. I have one more workshop this year. Hope you can make it! It is thru Oregon Art Supply. It is a two-day cityscape workshop, titled “Let’s Paint the Town Red, Yellow and Blue”. Go to http://www.oregonartsupply.com to register. The fee is $185 for two days. We are using three basic colors (and white). They are Perylene Red, Ultramarine Blue and Indian Yellow. I love how these three colors work together.
      Best,
      Patti
